We started AI Adaptive because we needed AI for our own business — and nothing off the shelf worked. So we built it ourselves. Then other businesses asked us to do the same for them.
The origin story
We run a dental practice in Darwin, Northern Territory. Like most practices, we were buried in admin. Missed calls, overflowing inboxes, manual note-taking, and knowledge stuck in people's heads.
We looked at what was out there. Plenty of tools promised AI. But none of them fit how we actually work. They wanted us to change our workflow to suit their product. That felt backwards.
So we started building. First a voice dictation tool. Then an AI phone agent. Then an automated inbox. Then a memory system. Then private AI infrastructure. Before long, we had 10+ custom AI systems running our practice.
The results spoke for themselves. Less admin. Fewer missed opportunities. Systems that work exactly how we need them to — because we built them that way.
That's when it clicked: every business has workflows that generic tools can't handle. Every business deserves custom AI. That's AI Adaptive.
